I acquired this stunning majolica plate at an estate sale in Nashville. The plate features embossed oak leaves in shades of rose and green on a buttery yellow stippled ground and a brown border. It is 7 3/4" in diameter. It is marked on the back MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY, 176 with an underlined S incised, and the number 33 stamped in black under the glaze. There are 3 stilt marks. It is in mint condition.
