This HEAVY vintage pottery pot, or jardiniere, was made by Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company. It is shown in Sanford's Guide to Robinson Ransbottom by Larry Skillman. It is a nice large one standing 8" tall and The top diameter is 9 1/4", narrowing to 6 1/2" at the base. It is glazed dark brown on the inside and the colors gradiate from dark brown to forest green at the bottom. The outside glaze is lightly crazed. There are knobby bubbles in the glaze from production that I do not consider flaws. One of them has chipped off. It appears to have a crown pattern going down from the top and coming up from the bottom.
