I have several napkin rings, but 2 really outstanding Victorian figural ones. This one is of a baby chick. A broken eggshell signed Best Wishes, engraved with leaves and berries, and having a small monogram LBR sits atop a wishbone. One of the photos shows the Derby signature. One photo shows the napkin ring turned upside down. There is a round disc that says Derby Silver Co., Birmingham, Conn, and the number 335, which probably is a production number.
It is just a beautiful piece and is in excellent vintage condition.
